Our history
The company was founded in 1982 in Piteå, today we consist of two full-service laboratories based in Piteå and Skellefteå.
Together, we have extensive expertise and experience in the industry, where we have chosen to focus on the latest in CAD / CAM technology.
Our basic idea is to work together with our customers around Sweden as a team where direct contact and communication are the pillars of our business. This, combined with our use of safe and proven materials, we believe results in a product with high quality and aesthetics.
Modern manufacturing methods
Right from the start, we have focused on working with fixed and removable prosthetics using the CAD/CAM method. The production is done by scanning and design in CAD programs. The result comes either through cementation on prefabricated titanium bases, or through milled/laser sintered prosthetic constructions which are a very popular option especially if the implant screws are angled.
3D modeling
As we are always updating our machinery to meet the future of dentistry, we have from the beginning strived to digitize parts of our prosthetic production. With this, 3D printing became a matter of course for us. After careful research, we have chosen to acquire the 3D printer that best meets our requirements for speed, quality and reliable, biocompatible resins.
Quality assurance
We quality assure all our dental products according to the MDR (Medical Device Regulation). Our Quality Management System (Structure) ensures continuous control, documentation and improvement of processes and products. All our products are MDR labeled and fully traceable.

Our process
We follow the wishes of each individual patient and, in consultation with the dentist, we decide on the necessary aesthetic measures. Using modern digital methods, we produce study models and shape adjustments that provide the dentist with a good basis for deciding on the method and timing of treatment.
After approval of the treatment plan, we proceed with the digital design and manufacturing of the products, communicating continuously with the dentist for the best results. Finally, we perform thorough checks and adjustments, offering personalized appointments for final fine-tuning if needed. The goal is always to deliver an aesthetic, functional and long-term sustainable solution for the patient.

Kjells tandteknik is a full-service dental laboratory. We can offer our customers everything from the usual Mk crown, lithium disilicate and zirconia crown to implant constructions and prostheses. As a dentist, you can turn to us with all types of dental engineering constructions.
We have a modern, local production facility where we use advanced CAD/CAM technology to design and manufacture our structures. Our machinery includes 3D printers and milling machines, enabling high precision, fast delivery and products with optimal fit and function. By working digitally and locally, we ensure short lead times and flexible handling of each assignment.
